We know we’ve got something special on our hands, but it’s always nice when others recognize it too. Architectural Digest’s round-up of “The Most Iconic Building in Every State in America” includes something familiar as South Carolina’s most iconic entry: Drayton Hall.
Alongside the Glass House, Frank Gehry’s Los Angeles-area concert hall, the Art Deco Fontainebleau, cathedrals, capitals, a couple of Frank Lloyd Wright entries and even the St. Louis arch, Drayton Hall’s Palladian jewel claims the South Carolina spot.
Thanks, AD! Find the rest of the entries here: “The Most Iconic Building in Every State in America”
