In this guided walk of Drayton Hall’s landscape, curator Amber Satterthwaite will share stories of Africans and African Americans whose knowledge, talent, ambition, and resolve have impacted Drayton Hall over time. Oral histories and memories, documents, archaeology, and the practice of historic preservation come together to enhance our understanding of these remarkable individuals and their lives. This walk is on Saturday, February 15, 20225 at 10am.
