Fall begins this month, and for many of us that means a transition from cookouts and picnic tables to cozy meals in the dining room. Join us for a deep dive on the dining room at Drayton Hall. We’ll look closely at the only room in the house with gold gilding, ponder hidden decorative brickwork, and more.

Join us as we mix up a drink and dive in!

What we will be mixing:

The Gilded Looking Glass

4oz water
2oz honey
3 oz bourbon whiskey
2oz fresh lemon juice
Ice Cubes
Lemon peel, for garnish
Optional* Gold Cocktail Glitter

Combine water and honey, microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir until honey is dissolved.

In a cocktail shaker, combine honey syrup, bourbon, and lemon juice. Shake, pour over ice, strain into two glasses, garnish with lemon peel. Add gold cocktail glitter if desired.
