Corporate Events and Private Functions

History as your backdrop

A meeting space is a meeting space is a meeting space, or is it?

Imagine enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres with your staff or clients by the banks of the Ashley River, underneath the winding branches of a live oak tree, by a Victorian reflecting pond, or on the portico of an architectural masterpiece.

Instead of sitting down to dinner or a lecture with a background of wallpaper, imagine seeing the allee of azaleas or the stunning land-front façade of the oldest Georgian Palladian building in the United States.

After the site is closed to the general public, we open it up for unique corporate events and private functions. Why not join us for your next event?

Reserving a Date

Because of the site's unique state of preservation, we can only host a limited number of private events each year which means that when you choose Drayton Hall, you can be sure that your guests will remember their experience.

We encourage you to book early, especially if you are considering months in the spring and fall-the most popular times of the year.

To learn more or to reserve a date, please contact Debbi Zimmerman by phone, 843-769-2630, or by email at debbi_zimmerman@draytonhall.org.

Because of the site's limited availability, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit once you have selected a date.

Preferred Vendors

We want your event to exceed your expectations in every way possible, and we want your guests to walk away in awe. To assist you with your planning, we recommend talking to a select group of event planners, caterers, rental companies, and photographers who have years of experience with events at Drayton Hall.

Insurance

As a National Historic Landmark and National Trust Historic Site, we are required to have a certificate of insurance, naming Drayton Hall as the additional insured in advance of your event. Your event planner will typically provide this during the planning process.
